陈村村位于永福镇境内，原名“董村”，后因陈姓人迁入而改用今名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

此村原名“董村”，董氏因故迁往华安等地，陈姓人接着迁入，便改用今名[1]。

1934年属赤水保，最初隶第二区赤水联保，此后归官田乡；1949年初仍属官田乡，名陈村村；1950年至1952年归第四区赤水乡；1956年并入永福区，设陈村乡，又划归赤水乡。1958年为陈村大队，属永福公社；1961年一度划归赤丰公社，1964年复归永福公社；1984年改为陈村村，隶永福乡，1987年永福设镇后仍属其[1]。
