村址一半在山上，一半在山下，故称半坑。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放后，此处隶属南刘乡（属河田区）；1956年编入先锋高级社，1961年划归河田工委下的刘源公社。[1]

2023年1月，该村获评2022年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]
