龙门村位于金丰大山西麓，距县城区约4公里，距镇政府约6公里。[1][2]

村名的来历：山麓形如龙，村子处在山口之间，因而称龙门。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时此地归汀州府管辖，属溪南里的龙洲保。解放前仍属龙洲保；解放后先隶东联乡，设龙门农会。公社化后先归城关公社，1966年9月改隶先锋公社，1968年回到城关公社，名为龙门大队。1984年初，它进入城郊公社，同年四月转入城郊乡，村委会定名龙门村民委员会。[1]

2021年1月，村子被命名为「2020年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月，又获「2022年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号；2024年1月，获「2023年度龙岩市平安村居（社区）」称号。[1]

地理环境[edit]

辖区面积13平方千米；林地17800亩、耕地1071亩，森林覆盖率为78%。[2]

村内有淑雅溪水库。村辖区内有10个自然村，其中5个为革命基点村。[1][2]

村内设完全小学1所、幼儿园1所，并有卫生所1间。[1]
