五村位于万安镇西北部，距镇集镇约12公里，村名取自境内五个自然村的合称。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属九龙乡万安里。清代属溪口社，民国初属万安社，后为松岗联保。解放初曾并入邻村，1958年人民公社化时设为大队。[1]

1980年原大队析分为3个大队，1984年起设为村委会，归万安乡；1995年划归万安镇。[1]

人口与姓氏[edit]
