五星村位于新罗区西部，在紫金山西北山麓，海拔1138米，距龙岩中心城市约20公里。村名的来历是：境内自然村散布各处，连起来看呈五角星的形状。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村由散布在深山之中的十个自然村组成，山地以竹林为主，村中多毛竹生产。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明代属湖洋社，清末至民国初年属湖邦社。1937年起这里为复兴乡的联保，1941年划为龙门镇的五村保。[1]

新中国成立后，1949年11月村归湖邦区，1951年后改属区内的乡，1957年撤区并乡，划入湖邦乡。1958年9月起，它隶属湖邦、小池、龙门公社，为五星生产大队；1984年设龙门镇五星村村民委员会。[1]

村于2023年1月及2024年1月分别获评「2022年度」「2023年度」龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内有瀑布群、竹林与原始森林，有公坪山、百仗寨等红色旅游景区。[2][3]

第二次国内革命战争时期，红军和闽粤赣边区游击队曾在这一带山区活动，村为红色革命交通站之一。[2]

著名人物[edit]

翁矮古（冬桂，1861—1911年），龙门镇平高庄人，平高庄今属五星村。[4]
