历史沿革[edit]

社区名称与当地一家名为凤凰的开发商有关：该开发商在此建设楼盘，取名凤凰，寄托了给这片区域带来吉祥的希望。[1]

居民委员会成立于1982年，2002年1月整合后改称凤凰社区居民委员会。[1]

2021年1月，社区被命名为2020年度龙岩市「平安村居（社区）」；2023年1月及2024年1月，又分别获2022年度、2023年度同一称号。[1]
