中田村位于迪口镇境内，村名与相传原有上、中、下三村同居田中的说法有关。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

相传此地原有上中下三村，都位于田中，此村取名中田。[1]

1950年，村子隶属小桥二区的仑汲乡，1956年改归迪口六区的中田乡；1958年设迪口公社中田大队，1984年定名为今称。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2023年12月，中田村获评福建省「一村一品」专业村，主打食用菌。[1]
