地名由来[edit]

村中以胡姓居民居多，地形像一口塘，村名因此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期已有居民定居。1951年设湖塘大队，1984年成立村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年12月，湖塘村入选「2020年福建省森林村庄」名单。[1]

2021年11月，湖塘村获福建省爱卫办评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
