下沙村是邵武市原下沙镇的行政村，位于205省道旁，离邵武市区约12公里，现属沙溪街道。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来由是：过去由下王塘到洒溪桥一带原为同一个行政区，旧称下洒；「洒」与「沙」在方言中同音，遂改写作下沙。[1]

1995年，下沙村民委员会正式改名为下沙村。[1] 1994年设立下沙镇后，镇政府驻地即在本村；2026年5月起，沙溪街道办事处设在这里。[3]

概况[edit]

村辖区内有多家企业，村与企业共建，党员通过远程教育平台接受培训。[2]

2012年，下沙村被南平市委评为「南平先进基层党组织」。[2]

下沙村于2022年12月获福建省爱国卫生运动委员会授予「2022年福建省卫生村」称号；同年10月，村又入选「2022年度南平市绿盈乡村中级版村庄」名单。[1]
