铁炉村是临江镇下辖的行政村，地处丘陵，山下公路经过村旁。村内的葡萄园遗址时代属商周，为县级文物保护单位。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时属临江镇。1950年仍属临江镇，1951年归第三区公所，隶属樟山乡，1956年归临江区樟山乡管理，1958年设临江公社铁炉大队，1984年改为今名。[2]

2022年12月，铁炉村被福建省爱国卫生运动委员会定为「2022年福建省卫生村」。2024年11月，村庄被认定为「2024年度福建省一村一品专业村」，产品为粉干。[1]
