水南社区是福建省南平市浦城县河滨街道下辖的社区，位于县城南部，地处南浦溪南岸，属城乡结合部，2006年1月成立。社区名称取自其在南浦溪以南的位置。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

2005年以前，这一带分属水南村和下水南村。2005年12月，水南乡改设河滨街道，两村撤村设居，合并为水南社区居民委员会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

社区北面紧靠南浦溪，东起猪头岩一带，南至将军岭，西至马莲河与南浦溪汇合处，辖区面积约5.22平方千米。[1]
