江村位于洋墩乡西部，与洋墩村、均仓村、连墩村相邻，村中有一条主街道，以柑橘为主要出产。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子先建在村部后山，后迁至如今的位置，最初叫扛村；因村前有小溪流过，才改名为江村。[1]

1958年江村设为大队，隶跃进公社洋墩管理区；1961年起由洋墩公社管辖。1979年一度改为良种场，1980年良种场撤销，又改回江村大队，仍归洋墩公社；1984年改称江村村委会，属洋墩乡。[1]

经济[edit]

2022年10月，江村村由省农业农村厅认定，入选第二批「福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2023年10月，江村村上榜南平市「绿盈乡村」中级版村庄名单，名单为2023年度。[1]
