城东村是福建省南平市顺昌县双溪街道下辖的行政村，位于县城中心，富屯溪从城中流过。村名因其地处县城关东部而来，1974年由城关大队分出城东、城西两个大队。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

1974年，城关大队一分为二，析出城东、城西两个大队。1984年，城东大队改为村民委员会，当时隶属双溪镇。2006年5月，水南与双溪两镇合为双溪街道，村归其管辖。[1][2]

县城旧貌[edit]

据《顺昌县志》，明洪武元年顺昌县分为四乡二十八都，县城属鳀潭乡，设六坊，其中宣化、爱民、安靖三坊即今一至三街的旧称，也就是城东村村民旧居所在。[2]

村况[edit]

村辖6个村民小组。2014年全村有330户、1174人；园地521亩，林地2000亩，耕地414亩。因县城旧城改造与拆迁，多数村民迁入禾口新村、北门后山与东门货场石楼角三个安置点，也有人住进城区的安置房或商品房。[2]

文化旅游[edit]

村内有龙山红军烈士墓，建于现代，为县级文物保护单位。山上的顺昌龙山塔建于清代，同为县级文物保护单位。[3]
