新南村是福建省漳州市平和县崎岭乡下辖的行政村，位于乡政府所在地西面约2公里处，地势平坦。全村有16个村民小组，据博雅地名网载，有758户、人口3273人（未注年份）。[1]

地名由来[edit]

1962年，村从南湖大队中析出单独设队，队部设在新圩，因是由南湖新分出的大队，取名新南。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

1945年，村地在崎岭乡的南山保之内；1950年划入第六区，隶属南湖乡，1951年改归新建第10区。1958年并入南湖大队，1962年从中析出另设新南大队，1984年转为新南村委会，此地名至今仍在沿用。[2]

土地利用[edit]

村内以水稻、小麦和蔬菜为主要种植作物，果园主要种植琯溪蜜柚，种植情况据博雅地名网所载。[1]
