新美村位于福建省漳州市平和县五寨乡，1993年曾分出一部分另立新塘村。[1][2]
村名的「新」「美」二字，取自1958年组成村落大队时境内两个自然村的名称：一为新塘自然村，一为井仔美自然村。[1][4]
历史沿革[edit]
1945年，此地隶属五寨乡新美店保；1950年改归第三区新美店乡。1958年它成为五寨公社的新美大队；1984年改设新美村委会；2016年，村委会迁入新址。[2]

乡概况（2021年页面）列出村内的自然村共八个，依次为田尾坑、东山、田中央、后巷、井仔尾、桥仔头、东寮、下店。[3]
