龙东村是文峰镇东部的老区基点村，境内有一条清流穿过，村民俗称东溪。村东与三平寺仅隔一山。[1]

解放前称东溪，因有一条小溪向东流而得名。[1]

地理与人口[edit]

博雅地名网载全村415人、107户，辖2个自然村、3个村民小组，未注年份。村西与柴船村相邻，北面接安后农场的龟仔头作业区。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，该村获评2021年福建省卫生村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年隶山格公社，称龙东大队；1959年归文峰公社；1984年隶文峰乡，改设龙东村委会。[1]
