东田村位于南靖县山城镇境内。附近山上石头较多，石属金，而“无金”则有铜意，村庄初名铜田；因“东”与“铜”谐音，改为今名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村地解放前归靖城乡。1958年划入丰田农场，1959年转入山城公社，同山边、土尾合为东田大队；1961年才独立成队。1984年起为东田村村民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

2021年6月，东田村名列福建省第四批省级传统村落名单。[1]
