东园镇是福建省漳州市龙海区下辖的镇，位于龙海区东南部，北面临近九龙江入海口，隔海与厦门相望。全镇辖14个行政村和1个居委会，镇政府驻东园村。[1][3][6]

镇域有九龙江支流南溪流经，省道西浮公路与漳诏高速公路先后穿过全境。镇政府距龙海城区10公里，距厦漳跨海大桥5公里。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，镇域东部与中部的村庄分属海澄县第一区的陂内乡与峨山乡。1950年代，镇域先后划归海澄县第五区和城关区，1959年前后又归浮宫公社管辖。[6][7]

1961年起此地以东园公社的名义管理；1984年转为东园乡，至1992年才设为镇。[6][7]

地理环境[edit]

镇内气候属南亚热带海洋性季风类型，年均气温21.5℃，年降水量约1400至1500毫米。[4]

人口民族[edit]

据第七次全国人口普查，全镇有3.24万人。[2]另有一份2023年发布的乡镇概况，记全镇11335户，44028人，两处数字的统计口径不同，应分别理解。[1]

经济[edit]

镇域的农副产品包括粮食、水果、蔬菜、食用菌与水产。镇内设有东园工业区与农业示范区，两者都是省级园区。[4]

1990年代末，凤鸣村的大部分耕地被划为工业用地，田厝村也有部分土地划入，东园工业区由此成形。[8][9]

文化[edit]

镇政府网站载，东园镇获得「福建省重点乡村振兴特色乡镇」「漳州市乡村振兴重点乡镇」「福建省乡村治理示范镇」「省级文明镇」「福建省平安建设先进集体」等称号。[1]

粉果是东园镇的传统风味小吃，以纯绿豆磨浆制成，在当地颇受欢迎。[11]

名胜古迹[edit]

埭美古村临九龙江南溪，陈仕进为其开基，村子的起源可追溯到明景泰年间（1450年）。全村古厝共276座，明清建筑占其中49座。该村列入第六批中国历史文化名村，也是第三批中国传统村落之一。[5]

茶斜村的鹿石山上有鹿石山城堡，清顺治九年（1652年）建成，为郑成功驻守海澄时的外围据点。其城墙以石块砌成，周长4000米，现存故址。[10]
