东星村位于官桥镇政府驻地东北约9公里处，东面与晋江市毗邻，辖5个自然村。[2]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自东边村的“东”字，与五星红旗的“星”字合成。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

元、明、清时属三十三都，民国时属东边保。1949年解放初归下洋乡，1961年分设东星与三落两个大队，1965年三落并入东星大队，1984年改称东星村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

山地上果树成片，出产龙眼、桃李和番石榴。[2]
