大坝村位于码头镇西北部，因村中水尾处有一座大水坝而得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

民国年间此地属内洋、大坝两个保，1949年解放后属大康乡。公社化后，此地分成内洋和大坝两个生产队，1965年又合为大坝大队，1984年改设大坝村委会。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

聚落分布在猪尾山西麓的诗溪两岸丘陵河谷间，村委会设在丁埔。部分山地划给了五台山林场。[1][2]

经济[edit]

耕地以水稻、小麦和甘薯为主，蔬菜也有种植。林果有柑桔、香蕉和桃李，土特产为青砖。[1][2]

教育与卫生[edit]

村中有成功中学、小学和卫生所，乡村公路通往各自然村，并接连诗码公路。[2]
