黄田村隶属翔云镇，位于镇政府驻地北面约3.4公里处，北面临安溪县，村委会设在圆山。[1]

地名与历史[edit]

早先由黄氏开垦，因此以姓为名；如今聚居的多为王姓，于是又称王田。[1]

村子原属二十八都，民国年间称黄田保，解放后设黄田村，1958年成立黄田大队。1984年起为翔云乡下属的黄田村委会，到1991年12月才改为翔云镇黄田村委会。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村委会设在圆山，全村有11个自然村。村落分布在大帽山的东侧坡地、后沟林山的南麓，以及蓬花寨北侧的山谷中。[1]

山地3733亩，耕地1050亩。村民550户、2692人，分属17个村民小组。[1]

经济与设施[edit]

主种水稻与甘薯，林果有棕榈、茶叶、雪莲果等。村中有小学1所、卫生所1所与龟山水库，境内另有龙泉岩一处自然景观。[1]
