大洲村位于晋江下游南岸，北面约1公里处即泉州大桥，南距镇政府约2公里，江对岸为丰泽区。[1]泉安公路穿村而过，村子因此分成东西两片。[1]村内只有大洲一个自然村。[2]

迁村沿革[edit]

村庄原本靠江而建。1966年发大水后开始有人迁出；2000年防洪堤外移，2006年桥南一带改造，2009年全村搬进桥南片区。[1]如今村民已在桥南片区居住。[1]

古迹[edit]

旧村中唯一留存的清代建筑是万安关帝庙，它见证了这座老村的兴衰。[1]
