大洲村是广州市番禺区石壁街道辖下的行政村，在陈村水道东岸，与韦涌相邻，同石壁分界。[1]
名称与历史[edit]
村名的由来有三种说法：地形狭长、四周环水，状如水中之舟，称「大舟」，音转为「大洲」；村地由淤积的洲渚形成；古时有大官船在此遇风浪沉没，称「大舟」后转音。[1]村建于宋代，先定居的是关、罗两姓，后来赵、简、冼、史、梁等姓相继迁入，关、罗两姓则迁往别处。[1]1987年设立村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村有1295人、302户、耕地1525亩（该文未注年份）。[1]20世纪50年代以前水路是主要通道，从顺德、南海迁来的人较多；钟韦公路通车后才修起汽车路。[1]昔日种水稻、玉米、花生、甘蔗，近年多种花卉和绿化苗木，工业有纸品、金属和塑料加工。[1]
荣誉与文化[edit]
大洲村在2020、2021、2022年列入淘宝村名单，2019年9月列入2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单；以生态农业、生态文明村为品牌，被评为2019年度番禺区文明村。[1][2]街道的材料称石壁的龙船文化中，古有「大洲龙船」。[2]
