赤水镇是福建省泉州市德化县下辖的镇，位于县城西北部，镇政府驻赤水街，距县城约33公里。[1][2] 全镇辖1个社区和14个行政村，土地总面积90.95平方千米；截至1999年末，全镇人口为1.709万人。[1][2] 赤水古称赤水格，又名锦水，聚落在明隆庆年间（1567年至1572年）迁至现址。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代，此地归集贤乡新化里管辖，清代则分属汤泉里与新化里，民国时改为赤水乡。[2]

1950年设第五区公所，1956年改为赤水区；1958年组建为赤水人民公社，1961年佛岭、美湖、大铭、双翰四处分出，各自建社。[2]

1984年改为赤水乡，1992年7月撤乡设镇；镇概况页另写作1992年10月，二者相差三个月。[1][3]

地理环境[edit]

镇政府驻地海拔970米，气候属亚热带季风型，地势较高，夏季凉爽，冬季常见霜雪，年平均气温约17摄氏度。[2]

镇内矿产主要有铁、铅、锌、石膏、耐火土、瓷土和泥煤。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

戴云寺在戴云村，属县级文物保护单位。博雅地名网记其年代为清，百度百科则把寺院的起源定在后梁开平二年（908年），称现存建筑为2000年重建。[4][5]

巡检寨碑及龙兴宫在湖岭村，年代为明，属县级文物保护单位。[6]

英显宫位于永嘉村，内有木雕与壁画，建于中华民国时期，属县级文物保护单位。[7]

永安岩在铭爱村，博雅地名网记其年代为明，属县级文物保护单位。据百度百科，1464年周进宗与侄子周琼六捐出山场和田租，筹建岩寺，并取名「永安岩」。[8][9]

荣誉[edit]

2012年12月，环境保护部把「2010—2011年度国家级生态乡镇」的称号授予镇。[1]

2020年12月，镇获福建省爱卫办命名为「福建省卫生乡镇」。[1]

福建省森林康养评定委员会认定镇为「2022年福建省级森林康养小镇」，时间是2022年10月；2023年12月，镇被认定为「2023年度福建省森林乡镇」。[1]
