上沙村位于县城东北部，距县城约6公里，南北两端高差较大。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明代以后，此地归东门外十四都所辖；新中国成立后划入第四区。[1]
1958年至1961年间归东平公社管辖。1961年设上沙生产大队（当时隶属化龙公社）；1966年两社合并为城郊公社后仍称上沙大队；1984年起，此地为上沙村民委员会。[1]
经济[edit]
村内以山地林地为主，种植芦柑及其他经济林。[1]
文化[edit]
2020年12月，上沙村被认定为2020年泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」。[1]
在2022年12月，省绿化委员会授予上沙村「2022年福建省森林村庄」称号；福建省农业农村厅同月将其确定为2022年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（柑橘）。[1]
2023年2月，上沙村入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
