湖东村是福建省泉州市安溪县虎邱镇下辖的行政村，位于镇区东侧，因在湖坵之东而得名。[2][1]

圭峰山上的洪恩岩风景区在村境内，岩寺为县级文物保护单位。[1][3][4]

地名由来[edit]

村名取自所在方位：村址位于湖坵的东部，故名湖东。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时期村域属积德乡新康里，明清时期属中六里的新康里，民国时期隶属新康里的「湖坵」保。[2]

中华人民共和国成立后，村域归西坪人民公社、西坪区和虎邱人民公社管辖。1961年从湖坵大队中分出，独立设为湖东大队；1965年随虎邱公社划归虎邱人民公社；1984年改称湖东村委会。[2][1]

地理环境[edit]

村域的圭峰山是洪恩岩风景区所在的山地，村内还有百丈漈瀑布，位于洪恩岩寺前右侧。[1][3]

名胜古迹[edit]

洪恩岩位于圭峰山，岩中供奉显应祖师，相传南宋时已有圭峰岩，明万历年间移建于现址。洪恩岩是县级文物保护单位，景区在2010年被认定为国家3A级旅游景区。[1][3][5][4]

荣誉[edit]

近年村里获得的荣誉有：2022年12月，由福建省绿化委员会命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」；2024年10月，被确定为「泉州市2024年度市级“一村一品”专业村」，主导产业为铁观音。[2]
