桂林村是安溪县龙门镇的行政村，位于镇政府驻地南约9公里，在东岭尖回头峰西坡，海拔568米。四面是山，中间较为平坦。古时山林茂密，村地曾称茂林，又作桂林、桂瑶、贵瑶和龟窑。村内辖13个自然村，村民以林姓为主，盛产茭白笋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

中华人民共和国成立前，这里属依仁里的一个保。成立后设乡，1961年组成人民公社并分设大队；1984年改设桂林村民委员会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2019年度福建省“一村一品”示范村（茭白）名单在2020年12月公布，桂林村入选。同月，村庄入选福建省森林村庄名单。2021年12月，村庄被确定为泉州市2019至2021年度市级“一村一品”专业村，主导产业为茭白。[1]
