东园镇是福建省泉州市惠安县的一个镇，位于县境南部、泉州湾北岸，现由泉州台商投资区管辖。东面与张坂镇相邻，西面与洛阳镇、百崎回族乡接壤，北面连着洛阳镇和螺阳镇。截至2020年6月，全镇辖17个行政村。[1][2][3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代，今镇域属崇武乡。[1]

上游公社于1958年下设东园管区，此地1961年转为东园公社。1984年设东园乡，1989年改称东园镇。[2]

1989年10月，里春、后海、莲壕、白奇、下球五个行政村析出，另立百崎回族乡。[1]

2010年6月，东园镇与洛阳镇、张坂镇、百崎回族乡一并划归泉州台商投资区，行政事务改由台商区管委会代管，名义上仍属惠安县。[3][4]

2023年2月至3月间，镇内原有的11个村民委员会改为居民委员会，行政村也随之变为社区。[2]

现在全镇辖11个社区和6个行政村。[2]
