五星社区是福建省泉州市鲤城区常泰街道下辖的社区，位于街道东部，东面与金龙街道的古店社区相邻，西邻树兜社区。[1][2]

名称由来[edit]

社区名取自五星红旗的寓意。解放后，互助组、初级社、高级社直至人民公社时期，这一名称一直沿用。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

社区所在的原五星村委会于2003年5月因“镇改街、村改居”改为居委会。2006年9月常泰街道成立，五星社区居委会随之设立，此时辖有下官、西坑和斗南三个自然村，村委会设在斗南。[1][2]

地理[edit]

县道301线、江南大街以及南高渠、南低渠穿过社区。社区南面与路边社区相接，北面靠着华星社区。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

社区曾获“区级文明社区”称号。[1]
