桥西村是永安市燕西街道下辖的行政村，位于市区西部。[1][2]

村委会地处西门桥以西，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代此地属城西坊，民国称作桥西保；1950年成为桥西乡，之后一度设为桥西街道居委会。1958年10月，此地编入先锋人民公社的桥西管理区；1964年5月改称城市公社桥西大队。1984年起属燕江镇，称桥西村，并设村民委员会；1989年12月划归燕西街道。[1]

人口[edit]

2005年，全村耕地17.35公顷，人口共320户、932人；村中原有东坡、桥尾、大溪三个自然村。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年7月，村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区）」。[1]
