里坑村位于泰宁县大龙乡西北部，下辖里坑、暗岭、老虎际三个自然村。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

村名的来历是：所辖自然村「里坑」位于山间坳里的一片平地，故名。[1]

宋元时期此地为崇礼乡大田里的善溪保，洪武元年（1368）分入善溪上保。民国初至1931年为南乡地方。[3]

1931年后苏维埃时期隶龙安区，1934年6月起归三区，1940年划入龙善乡。[3]

解放后，1950年末至1951年末设大布乡政府，归五区；1954年一度分设大布、涓溪两乡，1956年涓溪并入，归大布区。1958年改设生产大队，归万能公社，1959年转属大布公社；1980年分出另设里坑生产大队，仍属大布公社。[3]

1984年改设村民委员会，属大布乡；2005年起划归大龙乡。[3]

在《泰宁县第一批地名保护名录》中，本村是国家级传统村落所在的建制村。[5]

名胜古迹[edit]

老虎际自然村有清代至民国的老虎际建筑群，列入第三次全国文物普查登记。[4]

老虎际古村落属于「第六批中国传统村落」。2022年10月，本村被列入该批名录。[6][1]

文化[edit]

2021年11月被命名为2021年「福建省卫生村」；2024年7月，本村获评2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区），同月又被确定为2021至2023年度三明市达标「六无」村（社区）。[1]
