里坑村在安远镇东北部，与永跃村为邻，北面越过界线即是建宁县伊家乡；西接后溪村，南连安远村。[1]

村名中的“里”与“李”同音，指李氏祖先；“坑”为凹地，村落位于坑谷之中，是李氏族人聚居之地。[1]

荣誉：2024年7月，被命名「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时属招得里。第二次国内革命战争时期，此村曾为闽赣省苏维埃政府驻地。1934年5月建宁失守后，闽赣省委书记邵式平带领省委与省苏维埃机关及所部红军驻进本村。[2][3]

民国时为安远联保的一部分。建国初称里坑乡，1958年与黄塘合为一个大队；1961年两村分开，里坑仍设大队。1984年起归安远镇，改设里坑村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村中稻田养鲤，制成鲤鱼干；村内油茶林出产茶油。村域内查明的矿种有莹石、钾长石、稀土等。[2]

著名人物[edit]

谢木生，原名谢兆良，1911年1月生于本村楮茶坑，少年时曾为地主当长工，1935年1月去世。百度百科称其为福建宁化籍烈士。[1][4]
