龙坑村位于夏坊乡政府东北部，距乡政府约10公里。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子东、南、北三面溪水与飞瀑垂挂而下，状如游龙，因此得名“龙坑”。[1]

沿革[edit]

1958年初隶宁化县，此后几经划转。1959年起归清宁县枫溪公社龙坑大队，1964年回归明溪，1968年并入红卫公社，1981年6月划入夏坊公社龙坑大队。1983年设夏坊区龙坑乡政府，1987年改为夏坊乡龙坑村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
