长丰村位于拱辰街道东面，东邻东阳村，西连七步村，南接濠浦社区，北与涵江区东墩村相邻。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村民早年以张、方两姓为主，「长丰」之名由莆田方言中读音相近的词转化而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时此地归仁德里，民国时为一区长丰乡。新中国成立后一度设一区公所；1956年划入西天尾区，1958年归城厢公社，1965年改隶城郊公社。1984年大队改为村，2002年起属拱辰街道。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

长丰联络站旧址所在的祗林祠，清初建成，距今已有三百余年。1929年，县委在此召开扩大会议，研究落实省委指示，并充实了县委的领导班子。[2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，村庄被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
