东阳村位于拱辰街道东面，东邻黄石镇余埭村，西与长丰村交界，村内保存着东阳明清民居建筑群。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村名在宋代已称东阳。明初，浮山陈氏的族人迁来定居，沿用了原有的地名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时属武化乡，明清属仁德里，民国时为镇海乡与熙宁乡下的东阳保。新中国成立后设一区东阳乡；1958年改称城厢公社东阳大队，此后几经调整。1984年大队改为村级建制，隶属城郊乡；2002年起归拱辰街道管辖。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

东阳明清民居建筑群属莆田市级文物保护单位。明初御史陈道潜在此定居，此后逐步形成建筑群；其中御史第为明代始建、清代重修的二进合院，院内还有立于明嘉靖六年（1527）的家训石碑，题刻者为陈俨。[2]

人物[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，明清两代东阳村出了11名进士。明代的陈道潜（1364～1433）曾任监察御史、巡按湖广，参与编修《性理大全》，著有《庭训》。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2015年10月，村庄列入「福建省第一批省级传统村落」。2024年9月，村庄获评「2024年莆田市一村一品专业村」（乡村旅游）；2025年11月，又入选「福建省2025年度省级一村一品专业村」（乡村旅游）。[1]
