五星村位于港头镇境内，村子最初以侯姓聚居而得名，属于镇乡结合区。[1]

地名由来[edit]

村子原以侯姓聚居之处得名，之后改为现名。博雅地名网记述的改名缘由仅提及当时的政治形势，未作细说。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此处宋代归崇德乡北里上都，明朝时划入东隅化北里上都。1910年，村落并入龙田镇；1943年分为八甲。1950年划为第十三区的一部分，1958年并入龙田公社，1959年建立大队。1961年，大队归港头大队管理，1984年才改为村民委员会，仍属港头乡。1992年乡改镇时，村随之改属港头镇。[1]
