三村位于龙田镇区中心，属镇乡结合区的村庄，共有22个村民小组。[1]

村子原名何厝。解放后镇区划为四个村，此处排第三，故称三村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

此地旧属崇德乡时和里，元代照旧。明代归南上隅时和里，1910年并入龙田镇。1943年编为14甲，隶龙下保；1950年归第三区龙田镇，1958年属龙田大队。[1]

1959年分出光辉大队，即三村；1984年改设村委会；1985年7月正式成立三村委会，下辖22个组。[1]

人口[edit]

全村面积1.2平方千米，总人口4750人，共1115户，党员95名。[1]

经济[edit]

村内商贸兴旺，村民年人均收入约12000元。沿龙安街、龙辉街、新市街形成了商业街区，村里有26个临街店面出租。[2]

文化[edit]

村中有庐江文体公园，园内建了综合性体育馆。村子曾被评为福建省农村体育示范点。[2]

1992年，村子被评为「福建省亿元村」；2012年度被福州市评为先进党组织；福建省农业农村厅认定其为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」，时间为2022年10月。[1][2]
