立新村位于福清市海口镇中心区，原村委会在龙江边的官下尾一带。1958年成立人民公社时，由官下尾与南门两村各取一字，合称官南大队。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

立新村在宋代属感德乡方民里，有登云、擢桂、临江三境，明代归南下隅方民里。1943年隶属海口镇前村保。1950年归城里乡，1958年划入城里大队，1959年分出另设官南大队，仍属海口镇，1960年改称蔬菜大队，1968年改称立新大队。1984年改为立新村委会。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，本村获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
