东田村是阳下街道下辖的行政村。村后靠东北方向的山，村西有一条溪流南北横贯，溪东一带宜于建房，土地也肥沃，村名由此而来。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

东田村在1958年9月归城关人民公社的东田大队，1961年转入阳下公社，1984年9月设东田村委会，隶阳下乡。1985年6月村委会正式成立，下辖11个村民小组。[1][2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，东田村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
