城东社区位于福建省福州市平潭县海坛街道，在原潭城镇的东边，是一个城市社区。社区常住人口6299人，辖区包括若干街庄和几处新建楼房区。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

社区的前身是1997年从宝湖居委会独立出来的城东居委会，2003年转为社区居委会。[1]

2007年，辖区的一部分另立为白鹭社区，城东社区的名称未作改动。[1][2]
