梅花村位于罗源湾北岸，离碧里乡政府3公里，距县城30多公里。村子三面环山、一面临海，村内海湾形如梅花，村名由此而来[1][2]。

历史沿革[edit]

村子在1984年由大队改为村委会，仍归碧里乡。大队的设立可追溯到1961年，当时分出的梅花大队隶属碧里区碧里公社[3]。再往前，1950年村地划为第三区碧里乡，1958年改乡为大队[3]。明清时期村址在贤一里之内[3]。

村中陈氏的始祖原居福建长乐，于明万历年间迁入此地，此后建祠立宗，至今已传十六世[1]。

经济[edit]

村民以海上养殖为主业，主要产品有海带、海蛎，以及网箱养殖的各种鲜活海鱼、鲍鱼和贝类[1]。

文化[edit]

2020年6月，村子被确定为罗源县「第四轮第一批（2019年）平安村（社区）」[1]。
