江南社区是福建省福州市连江县江南镇下辖的两个社区之一，位于镇中心区。博雅地名网载，社区有1016户、人口3198人（未注年份）。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

早年村民沿敖江南岸建居，聚落因此得名江南。[1]

民国时期此地设江南街，1949年后先后改称劳动路、光明路。1958年设敖江公社江南大队，1984年挂牌成立江南村民委员会。[1]

1997年划入新设的江南乡。2006年先成立居委会，2009年再改称江南社区居委会。[1][2]
