下沙村是福建省福州市长乐区江田镇的行政村，位于镇域东南部沿海沙地，下沙海滨度假村在村内，村中有海螺塔。[1][2]

地名与沿革[edit]

据博雅地名网所载，村庄因地处沿海沙滩而得名。[1]

1961年以前叫下沙江头乾，1962年起称下沙大队，1986年设为下沙村委会，此后延续至今。[1]

自然与人口[edit]

据长乐区政府网2024年3月的报道，村域面积4.3平方千米，海岸线约2000米；村中有15个自然村，共1346户、人口5363人。[2]

滨海度假村[edit]

下沙海滨度假村1986年建成开放，后因管理欠缺、海滩环境恶化而一度衰落。[2]

海螺塔建于1989年，外形取海螺与海蚌之形，与海滩环境相接。[1]

村中另有海蚌厅、沙堡、石栈桥等景观。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年1月，本村被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」。[1]
