东河社区位于潮鸣街道西侧，属杭州市拱墅区。东边以建国北路为邻，西边就是东河，南面到庆春路，北面及京杭运河。面积0.18平方千米，人口4705人[1][3]。

地名由来[edit]

社区位于东河边，因此得名[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

2001年1月，社区由盐卤缸巷、花灯巷、金郎中巷三处居民区合并而成[4]。

辖区构成[edit]

利兹城市公寓、河滨公寓、双牛大厦、丽景苑、东河锦园、东河春晓六个住宅小区，外加体育场路87号的回迁楼，共同组成本社区。全区1576户[1]。

驻辖区的单位有中国农业发展银行浙江省分行、浙江省物产金属集团有限公司，还有杭州市国税稽查局[1][3]。社区服务中心办公面积350平方米[2]。
