建置沿革[edit]
赵沙为永安县明隆庆三年（1569年）建县时宽得都苦竹派社十四村之一，清代仍叫赵沙，属苦竹派约二十村。1952年设潮沙乡，1958年改作生产大队；1961年公社体制下放，分为潮沙、牛牯石、奎溪三个大队，1963年牛牯石、奎溪回并潮沙。1987年潮沙改称村委会，奎溪则另立村委会，1998年改建村民委员会，至2004年，奎溪村委会又并入潮沙。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2019年9月，潮沙村被列入「2018年广东省“民主法治示范村（社区）”创建单位」名单。[1]
