榄溪村是紫金县古竹镇下辖的行政村，村子中间宽、两头尖，形如榄核，因此得名；2012年入选第五批全国民主法治示范村（社区）。[1]

建置沿革[edit]

榄溪为古地名，清代是宽得都苦竹派约二十村之一。1952年设榄溪乡，1958年成立生产大队；1961年公社体制下放，一分为榄溪、沥口、江口三个大队，1963年合并复原。1983年设榄溪乡，同时划出一部分另立江口乡；1987年改称榄溪村委会，1998年成立村委会。榄溪、江口、黄坳三个村委会于2005年合并，成为现在的榄溪村委会。[2]

古竹镇概况则把江口、黄坳并入榄溪的时间记为2004年，两处不一致。[3]

荣誉[edit]

2012年10月，司法部和民政部确定榄溪村为「第五批全国民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]
