历史沿革[edit]
相传此村在明万历年间建立，先民从福建、江西、陆丰等地迁来，位置在东洲坑的西北，即原来的北门和西门。[1][3]
新中国成立后属东州乡、田墘区。1959年成为东二大队，1963年并入东一大队；1997年又分出东二管理区，属田墘镇；1999年改称村委会，归东洲街道。[3]
村中以黄、江、李三姓居多。[3]
经济[edit]
居民以海上捕捞、种蔬菜花生水果为主，经商为辅，村里有渔农产品交易的集市。[1]
