村里发展养殖和海产品加工，所产牡蛎、海胆远销各地；内湖渔港的海鲜和郑祖禧旅游基地在当地有名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
解放后设内湖乡，归田墘区；公社化时为内湖大队；1989年改内湖管理区；1999年农村改制，成立内湖村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，内湖村被广东省爱卫会授予广东省卫生村；2023年4月名列「2022年广东省乡村治理示范村」创建单位；2024年4月进入「广东省第一批乡村振兴示范村」创建名单。[1]
