庙边村是广东省肇庆市封开县河儿口镇的行政村，辖15个村民小组，博雅地名网记载总人口约1690人，水田约1586亩，林地约28亩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
庙边管理区1982年前是生产大队，1983年改设乡人民政府，1987年改称村民委员会。[2]
村委会办事处设在庙边村，所以叫庙边村委会，1987年依封府〔1987〕16号文设立。[3]
地理环境[edit]
地处丘陵山岗，山上种沙糖桔、贡柑，水田种稻、花生、黄烟。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
广东省文物保护单位罗沙岩遗址在庙边村后山，是旧石器时代中晚期的洞穴遗址，洞口朝西北，高出地面约2米，第二至第四层出土人牙化石和石制品；该遗址1978年发现，1991年起两次发掘，2008年11月18日公布为第五批省级文物保护单位。[4][5]
2019年9月，庙边村入选2018年广东省「民主法治示范村（社区）」创建单位名单。[1]
