历史沿革[edit]
1950年代先后设乡农会、乡政府和农业社，1958年成为生产大队，1987年设村民委员会；村名取自村委会所在的大旺村。[1]
经济[edit]
村里耕地265亩，山林约1.6万亩。[1]村民种植杂交水稻、八角、玉桂和沙糖桔，也养杏花鸡；村里投资兴建了自来水工程。[1]2008年，村集体纯收入3.8万元。[1]
